  • As a lunch sponsor, you'll receive one lunch, a display table, the opportunity to distribute literature, provide one-on-one networking, and display information about your company.
  • For members and their guests with timely reservations. Reservations must be made before noon on Friday before luncheon.

  • This category is reserved for Life Members
  • The Transportation Club of Houston Education Committee sponsors a limited number of seats for active students majoring in transportation, supply chain, logistics related areas. ALL student registrations must be endorsed by their college or university instructor. TCH membership is not a requirement.
  • Table of 8 - Bring customers or the office!

All no-shows will be billed if not canceled by 3pm on Friday before the luncheon.

TBS provides ocean transportation solutions for dry cargoes worldwide.  Supported by a fleet of handysize / handymax bulk carriers and multipurpose vessels, TBS carries more than 7 million tons of cargo annually.  The company transports cargoes globally with particular emphasis on its key trade routes in the Far East, Latin America, North America, Africa and the Middle East.

George E. Cody is Executive Vice President of TBS Shipping Limited.  Amongst other things, he is responsible for the employment of the TBS fleet of ships, overseeing the execution of the voyages, and directing the development and maintenance of client relationships.

George has extensive experience with the transportation of liner, project, breakbulk and bulk cargoes.  Contracting and executing hundreds of full cargo and parcel voyages has given George a thorough understanding of voyage management and economics.  Clients seek George’s expert knowledge to develop strategies to expand their business and enhance their competitive position in the market.

Mr. Cody holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and an MBA from Iona College.

Mr. Cody and his wife, Audrey, have been married for 21 years and have 3 children together.
