Topic:

Rail Safety Challenges as a result of the recent explosion of oil shale activity in North America.

Harding Rome has been Regional Crossing Counsel for the Southern Region since March 2011. Harding is responsible for grade crossing issues on the Southern Region with particular emphasis on the safe movement of energy equipment over Union Pacific tracks.

Harding is a graduate of Louisiana State University and the University of Houston School of Law. He joined the railroad in 1982 and has held a number of positions in the Union Pacific Law Department prior to being appointed to his current position.
